NSSA President 2022-23
Dear friends,
The Neuro Spinal Surgeons Association was founded by Prof. P S Ramani for bringing the Neurospinal community of India under an umbrella . NSSA has always remained at the forefront of education. With the efforts of our predecessors, the NSSA has progressed to become one of the premier neurospinal societies in the world. We have frequently partnered with various reputed societies of the world including the WFNS Spine Committee, Korean Neurosurgical Spine Society, Asia Pacific Cervical Spine Society,etc.
The recent NSSA Spine 2022 meeting at Mumbai was a very well-organized meeting. This being the silver jubilee conference of NSSA, it was all the more special.There was excellent participation from national & international faculties and delegates. Both pre-conference workshops and scientific sessions were very informative. The memories of this conference will be cherished forever.
Under the new EC team, NSSA is planning to expand its educational initiatives further. Various activities including Cadaveric Workshops, Webinar series, etc. have been planned over the year. There is also proposal to start spine fellowship programme under the aegis of NSSA.
This year’s NSSA Spine 2023 meeting will be held at Vivanta by Taj, Delhi from 15-17th Sept.2023. It will be preceded by preconference cadaveric and live operative workshop on 13-14th Sept.2023 at AIIMS, New delhi. There will be international societies which will be co-partnering the meeting,The organising team under Prof. Sachin Borkar is working hard to make a robust scientific programme and a memorable meeting. I request all of you to attend this meeting and make it a success(www.nssaspine2023.com).
In the end, I request those of you who still are not members of NSSA ,to become the members. There are various opportunities of teaching, training available to members. I request your cooperation to further the society’s goals.
